What is important to you, when you choose a recruitment supplier?

– To find the right supplier with the best prospects to find and recruit candidates across various functions.

Why did you choose Agentum?

– It’s funny how many recruiters who are convinced that their process is unique. Agentum is one of the very few exceptions.

What do you consider to be the main advantage of referral recruitment?

– Larger outreach and perception. A headhunter simply isn’t able to consider as many variables as a large network of well-connected agents. If a particular candidate has a summer house in Dalsland, Sweden, would she be more willing to consider a job there? This is difficult for a headhunter to know.

Which are Swedbank’s challenges?

– Swedbank has 15 000 employees. One challenge is to involve them more in recruiting both internally and externally by working referral based.

– Absolutely, of course, I also got my last job through referral recruitment.

What is important to you, when you choose a recruitment supplier?

– I want a partner, not a supplier, to work with over time. A partner who knows and understands our business, our culture and our values. A partner who will help us find qualified candidates who can and want to grow our business, our people and our values.

Why did you choose Agentum?

– The search and recruitment industry is generally traditional and conservative. I believe Agentum represents a new way of working. They’re ahead of their time and a very good business partner. My wish is that Agentum will gain a stronger international network to source and recruit from in the future.

What do you consider to be the main advantage of referral recruitment?

– A larger network and selection of candidates.

Which are IKEA’s challenges?

– IKEA will by 2020 need to recruit 300,000 employees globally. 25,000 hereof are management positions and 75,000 are directly caused by our global expansion.

– We strive to, internally, advertise all vacant positions. Many of the welcomed external candidates apply via our website. We also try to work with succession in a structured way via our Management Review process. Of course, we also have candidates referred to us. I was contacted the last time.

With our help, IKEA has among other positions employed a new HR/Competence Manager for IKEA Sweden and several Business Leaders with an international profile.

  • What is Agentum?

    Agentum was founded in 2005 and is today Scandinavia’s leading company in referral recruitment. We solve recruitments in only 3-6 weeks via referrals from our exclusive network of more than 2,000 well-connected Agents in Sweden, Denmark and abroad. Agentum is owned by the global leader in employer branding, Universum, who also hold the talent network Nova 100, Nova Pro and Nova Executive Network and Super Talent Academy, the Universe, Student Card and Youth Survey.

  • How many active Agents are part of the Agentum network?

    More than 2 000 well-connected people in Scandinavia’s business community and public sector are part of our network. 800 of these are senior Agents (+10 years of experience) and the remainder are divided between the segments Professional and Middle Management

  • Where will I find the assignments, Agentum is currently working on?

    You will usually only see the assignments, if you are either one of our Agents or if you have been recommended by one of them.

  • Is Agentum specialised in any particular industry or specific type of assignment?

    As our signature methodology opens up for a diverse search across industries, we work with most industries. We are specialised in key positions within the segments Executive, Professional and Middle Management. Typical assignments are often management positions, senior specialists and board positions.

  • You must have an amazing database of interesting candidates. Do you use it to solve your assignments?

    No, we always look for new candidates, who have been recommended by the Agents for the particular assignment. We believe in dynamic networks and only spending resource on candidates with interest. Our methodology utilizes the Agent’s personal relationships and because these change over time, we always run a new search on every assignment.

  • How do I become an Agent? And why would you want to be an Agent?

    You have somehow been identified as a person with a large diverse network, either by one of us at Agentum or by one of our existing Agents. You typically have a network, which complements that of our current Agents. We give our Agents the opportunity of exercising their own network. They also receive financial compensation if their candidate gets the job – an important incentive for us to get the best candidates.

  • How do I know, if Agentum has the right Agent who can recommend someone to my company?

    We have hand-picked people with large and diverse personal networks to ensure a wide outreach in our searches. We meet our Agents in person regularly to keep a trusting relationship and to know what happens in their lives. Furthermore, we know that our Agents have their network within multiple and diverse industries. We know our Agents and therefore also know when not to work on a certain assignment.

  • Does Agentum handle the entire recruitment process?

    Yes, we handle everything from profile analysis to collecting references as a standard, but of course, you can also get help with other parts of your recruitment process, if desired.

  • Everyone say they work via network – what is the difference between Agentum and other recruitment agencies?

    Our search method through hand-picked Agents is unique and valuable, because of the passive candidates we can reach – candidates traditional methods don’t reach. When our Agent’s recommend candidates, they personally vouch for them and thereby put their own reputation at risk. They therefore think twice, which in turn is a great factor to improve the quality of the candidates.

    Simply put, we have formalized and commercialized the fact that 8 out of 10 people find jobs through their network

  • What are the advantages of Agentum’s approach?

    Thanks to our Agents, we can be amazingly fast and accurate. We present candidates already after 3 weeks from the time we share the assignment with our Agents. Via the referrals, we reach candidates who are not actively seeking.

  • How long does it take to solve an assignment?

    6-8 weeks from sending out the assignment to our Agents until the candidate and our client sign a contract.
